Co-Wash

Co-wash means Conditioner Wash. I call co-washing a mini wash day because I do not do the “pre-pooing” process before it & my hair may need washing but I could go a couple more day with the style I have if I needed to. This process should not take the same amount of time your wash day routine takes. This is a hair refresher.

These are some of my favorite Co-washes:

1. Pantene Deep Hydrating Cowash. This product had good slip & it cleanses my scalp very well. It smells great and it melts my tangles away

2. Eden Body Works All Natural Cleansing Cowash Coconut Shea. The only thing I dislike about this product is the packaging. It’s a nightmare to use in the shower. This is by far the best cleansing cowash I’ve ever used. It definitely cleaned my hair & removed drandruff from my scalp better than any cowash I’ve ever used. I am also able to detangle with this product.

3. As I Am Coconut Cowash Cleansing Conditioner. This product is very watery and it is difficult to use in the shower because of the packaging, I ended up putting this product in a squeeze bottle to use it. This shows you the lengths I was willing to go through for comfort & to use this product because it cleanses my hair very well & I can detangle with it. I do not care for the packaging at all but the product works & it actually does moisturize my hair and it doesn’t leave a “film” or “cast” of anything on my hair.

2. Pantene Truly Natural Hair Cleansing Cowash. This cowash was the best at detangling but not the best cleansing agent. I love the packaging and it is very inexpensive but it’s not very natural either. It’s not a bad cowash but there are indeed better ones.
