Deep Condition

Deep Conditioning is a process that should never be skipped especially after using a clarifying shampoo or cleansing agent. It’s the beginning of the moisturizing process. Deep conditioning puts the moisture & oils that the shampoo take out back into your hair.

Deep conditioning is the foundation of my moisturizing process, afterwards I am able to build a moisturizing routine for my hair so it stays hydrated.

These are some of my favorite Deep Conditioners

1. Africa’s Best Hair Mayonnaise. This is not the most “natural” product but it works & it has egg protein which helps strengthen your hair. This Deep Conditioner has bits of natural herbs in it that you can see it also has a creamy texture. A little goes a long way. I’ve used this deep conditioner even when I had permed hair its great & it doesn’t hurt your pockets.

2. Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen, Grow & Restore Treatment Masque. This is a very thick & moisturizing masque. It smells like play-doh to me but it is definitely a great deep conditioner. I love this entire line if you haven’t tried it, it’s definitely worth it.

3. Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Mufura Oil Intensive Hydration Masque. This is THE best moisturizing deep conditioner I have ever tried. It’s very think & it keeps my hair moisturized the longest. I believe it’s the honey. Honey is a natural humectant. Again, I love this Shea Moisture line. If you have not tried it please do.

4. Eden Body Works Natural Deep Conditioner Jojoba Monoi. This deep conditioner is not as thick or heavy as the others but it is very moisturizing and if you’re worried about natural ingredients you don’t have to worry about Eden Body Works products.
